X-Men Prime... the Age of Apocalypse is over. Charles is back!

Back when this book was first released, I wasn't a huge fan of Bryan Hitch's pencils. It was a change from the anime-inspired, cleaner lines crafted by a lot of the X-Men artists that I had come to love in my introduction to comics. Then I wasn�t even a teenager. Since growing up, though, I have certainly become a fan and come to appreciate his ease of detail and realism. The way he draws his scenes, I feel he really puts you in the story.

I'm happy to own an example from this book, a cool panel page depicting the X-Men as a family, sitting around the tube, trying to comfort Beast after his ex-girlfriend, news anchor Trish Tilby, breaks the story of the Legacy Virus, casting all mutants as potential virulent killers.

Key special one shot issue to reset the 616 X-Men titles in the aftermath of X-Men Omega's conclusion of the AOA titles. We get to see Hitch in his biggest title yet in 1995 and his big intro to mainstream Marvel comics in the US.
