This masked vigilante, whose thrilling adventures captivated readers in Argentina—where he was also known as Captain Sphinx—fought against indigenous uprisings in colonial territories, facing dangerous foes and secretive cults.One of his most iconic tales, “El Capitán Misterio y La Secta de Saong”, features a gripping battle against a shadowy sect steeped in dark rituals and sinister conspiracies. With his masked identity and daring exploits, El Capitán Misterio remains a timeless figure in adventure comics, blending pulp fiction intrigue with the mystique of the colonial era. Looks great with the ferocious action displaying the understanding of human and animal anatomy at work to making a very dramatic scene. The vintage of this makes it even more rare.
