DescriptionThis issue is notable for introducing Nekra, one of Marvel's first significant African-descended villains. Born with albinism, Nekra Sinclair’s origin story intertwines with Mandrill's, as both characters were ostracized due to their physical appearances. Their shared experiences fuel a bond and a vendetta against humanity, leading them to use their powers to wreak havoc.Social/Sharing |

Never in a million years would I think this combination of penciller and inker would work. Never. But gosh, this looks really good. I love Andru but his ladies were just a little above average, IMHO. But this is really, really nice. He captures Shanna perfectly and the inks by Colletta compliment his pencils nicely. Great pages, thanks for sharing them all.
