Happy Holidays everyone! The countdown to the New Year begins.

Justice League cover featuring Superman & Guy Gardner by Dan Jurgens and Rick Burchett.

With all the recent Guy Gardner talk because of the new Superman trailer I thought it would be a good time to post this cover from 1992. Nice cover from the Dan Jurgens JLA run.

The very next issue would be JLA #69 Death of Superman crossover in which the team is decimated by Doomsday.

Love the placement of the word ballon as it makes you look there first before seeing what Superan and Guy are doing!

I prefer seeing Superman and Guy at odds with each other, asin the classic scene they shared in Action Comics Annual #3 when Superman literally willed Guy's power ring off his finger and onto his own. But that said, this is still a fun cover!

Definitely one of those covers that makes you wanna pick up the book to see what's inside! Love Guy's expression, too, and them eyebrows :) Congrats, Shemp - way to cap off 2024! Happy New Year!
