Description

Tana Ford is a great artist and an awesome person. She's earned a spot on my roster of go-to artists for sketchbooks, as she's delivered strongly for me on multiple occasions.

At Dragon Con 2022, I was still getting to know Tana and didn't find time to get her in a sketchbook that weekend, but I was flipping through her OA portfolio, this talking head page of Silk talking to her therapist really stuck out.

Not only well composed & rendered, but a good reminder that I should consider going to therapy.

Hey, I'm guessing most of us should, but that might reduce our budget to chase new art, and isn't that a form of therapy for us hobbyists?

Happy New Year everyone! Hoping you work out the deals you need to stay mellow in 2025.

Great mastery of the facial expression! It's four faces facing the same direction and there's just enough changes in each one to propel the narrative along.
