A stone-cold Marvel classic! The King's artwork for this graphic novel is seen by many as the peak of his '70s output, and pages consistently command huge interest -- so this magnificent cover is a very special offering, indeed. One could hardly hope to find a more powerful single image of two classic characters that Kirby is most closely associated with bringing to life: Galactus and the Silver Surfer. And with the Fantastic Four movie looming, we're certain that interest in one of the finest Kirby originals that we've offered will be through the roof!
Presumably to make this pioneering "prestige" graphic novel stand out to a wider audience of readers, paperback cover artist Earl Norem was commissioned to create a painted cover for the book based on Kirby's stunning original art offered here. This image truly has everything a collector would want from a Kirby cover.
