10.5x15.75" artboard has pen and ink original art by Howard Chaykin for Star Wars #9, published by Marvel March 1978. Art was inked by Tom Palmer (1942-2022) is for page 7 and is from all original story featuring the Eight for Abuda-3 - Jimm (Starkiller Kid), Amaiza Foxtrain, Hedji, Jaxxon, Don-Wan Kihotay, the tractor-robot FE-9Q battling High-Hounds before being joined by Han Solo in last panel. Page features seven panels, third panel having screentone effect accent. Continuation strip pasted at lower right. Top margin has stamped "Star Wars" title along w/inked issue/page numbers. Top corners have been clipped and top/bottom margins have thin strips of aged tape/tape staining, not affecting art. Back has Marvel copyright stamp as well as strip of aged tape remnants/tape staining along entirety of outer edge. Art remains clean and displays Exc. This piece (and other Star Wars original art offered in this auction) is fresh to market and comes from one collector, and each is an incredible find.
