DescriptionThis is a personal favorite. Back in the early 2000's we had the license to create Marvel Lithographs. When John Watson was painting some of the lithographs, I asked if he would do a painting featuring Daredevil and Bullseye, and if he could fit in Elektra, that would be great, and he was very kind and did so! When I saw this in Heritage, it was one of the two "must haves" that I went for. This was also featured in an issue of Wizard Magazine, but can't remember which one.Social/Sharing |

Piece is absolutely incredible. What a painting. Perspective is picture perfect.

Realistic and energetic all at once, not an easy combination.

John's paintings are marvellous and he's a very under-rated /under-hyped artist. This is just great!😌

I bet you gave him photo reference to your favorite restaurants too!

That really is a real stunner! At first glance, I thought it was Alex Ross. Love the pizza, pasta, and obscured McDonald's restaurants in the background.

I love John's work, I was actually going to bid on this but just had a felling this would find it's way to you. considering the who was in it, this is a slam dunk for you.

Congratulations on a spectacular acquisition. John Watson created an image reminiscent of a Norman Rockwell classic

Glad you ended up with this! I've not seen it for 20 years. The background is from a photo I took while I was at Dynamic Forces for a week signing lithos and sketching. Good to see the painting again.

Stunning! The artist has placed the characters in the birght light of day where there is no room to hide, and he pulls it off perfectly.

This is gorgeous!! I love scenes like this that are painted so realistically & vividly that I could totally imagine being caught up in such a happening. Like that guy in the corner with his hands on his head. That could be me as Daredevil whizzes by overhead! Jon Watson did such an amazing job with this one. Congrats!
