Description

Volto Nascosto is Italian (Bonelli) mini series which consists of 14 issues and was published back in 2007.
Parlov drew first issue of original series.
In 2010 Croatian publisher Libellus published 7 books each containing 2 issues and Goran drew covers for first 2 books. This is one of them, made in 2010 in peak od Parlov career (done while he was working on Punisher).
Very happy to get this one back thanks to Andy (again many thanks) since Parlov painted covers are impossible to buy (he's done only couple of them for Magico Vento Croatian edition).

Very rare to get b&w art from Parlov already. Your goals were set high and you landed one of his all time best.

Gorgeous cover for Volto Nascosto #2 by Goran Parlov! I love the muted color paletter Goran used here, with the cool blues and greys above and the softer tans below. Nice drawing of the hero characters on the beach whle the evil metal mask of the chief bad guy ( A Doctor Doom lookalike) staring down at them with a disapproving glare. I don't think I've ever seen color work Goran before. He should do more of it, he's got a real eye for it. Great find, congrats!
