Description1-2025...A long time dream to have a page from the original series of the TMNT by the brilliant Eastman and Laird! This is the first time (since issue #1) where the origin of the Turtle brothers is retold! The turtles have just been teleported back to Earth and, reunited with their beloved Master Splinter, finally know how their story is intertwined with the alien Utroms! The panel with our pre-mutated heroes falling into the sewers says it all! Honestly, probably one of the most recounted and well-known origins of any superhero in my opinion, even though there always seems to be some slight changes to it. From the description... An iconic flashback page by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird featuring the fateful moment the pre-mutated turtles fall into the sewers. Splinter's narration adds weight to this pivotal origin moment that sets everything in motion for the heroes in a half-shell. Rendered in ink over graphite on Duo-Shade board with an image area of 8" x 12". Social/Sharing |

This is a great issue jumping on point right after their Triceraton/Fugitoid adventure. It's probably when they couldn't keep up with demand for reprinting issue 1 enough at this point of their popularity so they did a flashback retelling.

iconic TMNT lore/imagery, any Eastman/Laird page from the Mirage Studios is great to have and this being the 1st time the origin is being re-told after #1 makes this one timeless. congratulations and thanks for sharing it here!
