Really, really love Neal's panel flow on this Deadman page. The way Deadman floats through the page makes you feel like a ghost floating along with him.

I always liked Neal's Deadman best because I thought he experimented the most with panel layout, story flow and figural exaggeration and perspective. He was really being innovative and showing off his talent

From a pure art perspective, Neal's Deadman run is probably the most fun to look at and study. This page is a great example of why.

My favorite Adams too. Well, maybe his X-men too but this is still great. I think he was most creative on this book and did things no one else was doing in North American mainstream comics at the time.

One of the most famous Deadman pages of the Adams' run! His application of new and innovative layouts were a reflection of the times where there was a revolution in thought and outlook of unlocking possibilities and potential in society. His experimentation of the comics medium opened doors for an explosion of artistic freedom and creativity!

Adams figured out who he was as an artist while drawing this title. This is a great example of his work during this period.
