Pretty famous image as it would have been archived by Kirby Collector and in vaious books on Kirby's career in Hollywood. The colors are in a comic book manner and would be very eyecatching for a movie promo.

Marcus, I found it interesting. It appears that the watercolor was the final version used in advertising. Not a color guide. Would this be called original colors?

It's color art that was shot for publication.

Yep! Too bad the colorist is unknown. Might reach out to the OA group on Facebook to see if there any comic art sleuths out there.
