Mahnke would get better but he was already so solid early on. Great pile up of a cover.
(But wait, didn't Wrightson draw Frankenstein ?!!?)

I thought you already had a Mahnke cover. At least one. Ah well.... Congrats on winning this one, I liked it a lot when I saw it and it's a really fair cost for a 25+ year old Superman cover! I'm glad I didn't bid on it myself though, because I didn't look at it carefully and I thought it was a pile of Cyborg Supermen attacking Superman, as opposed to just being robots!

Great to see the amazing original without that pre-Y2K color that comics of that era had. I've been loving doug's recent lo-fi animations on his IG which has reignited my appreciation of his past work. This is fabulous.
