DescriptionThe book itself has been a blast and the news that Gabriel was doing the fourth issue put it very high on my radar. The spin of Snyder on the original tale has been refreshing and the birth of Absolute Batman in the Gotham Zoo has a significant place in the first arc.Gabriel’s brings vibrant life to this daily page with Bruce, the zoo’s promotion and that giraffe as the visual focus on the page. BIg Fan of Gabriel's work, it was so cool he got to work on this book. Nice page, love the carnival panels and the giraffe. Great pick up.

Gotham Zoo is the new "alley near the theatre" for poor little Bruce....great page, congrats!

Great page! Such interesting choices, with close-ups and distant shots, a giraffe portrait, straight profiles and full frontal mugs, and a mix of heavy and ecstatic faces
