DescriptionWhen the MTV Emerging Artist of 2022 announced that they were going to produce a sketch book, I knew it was going to be a no-brainer. I filled out the order form, sent the payment, and kicked back to await the goodness.Several months later it struck me that I had never received said sketch book. I reached out to the artist and they promptly threw their manager, Chas, under the bus, blaming them for "not taking care of business." Eranga then said he would do a "sick" sketch on the cover to make up for the delay and deliver it to me at OAX. Now, Devasurendra is HUGE Neil Gaiman super-fan, so it's no surprise he went with a Sandman sketch. And, he not only doubles down on Gaiman, but he TRIPLE downs with 3 renditions of the MASTER of Dreams. Sick! Social/Sharing |

I was hoping he would see 2 different forms of himself one in each eye of the helm but there's always the next trip to the Dreaming! Nice sketch by Eranga, and he's always watching from the cornerbox!

I just watched the Tom Green documentary and I believe he won that very same award. If it's any consolation, I had trouble receiving mine as well. The handoff was expected to happen on a Saturday morning, but there wasn't “time” for it. Just the way it goes on the path to stardom I suppose. Sick end result though.
