Unpublished illustration belonging to the science fiction personal line of the artist.

In the future one lives on the edge of hope, continually brushing against illusion. There, reality (which is nothiong other than imagination) has more striking forms and shines with a more brilliant light. Inthe future we're side by side with electronics, fiber optics, genetic mutations, and black holes. Now we're inside the impossible. And so, beauty gives us chills and fear seems beautiful.

Great contemporary sci-fi of its time! The star wars influence on this painting is great and so was the cultural impact on the fashions and body types that defined the 80's. This probably also used a lot of the modern artist techniques of the day to achieve this look.
