Description11x17 Original cover by Eddy Barrows in pencil and ink. I'm a fan of the Titans TV series and the characters drawn here do show similarities with those on the show. But what caught my eye was the upward angled view on top of a busy lit city (which I love seeing in general) with my favorite sidekick turned hero Nightwing in the foreground and Robin in the background. Nightwing and Robin have a very deep place in my heart and soul. I do love the other characters as well and they help to complete the Titans team and really this entire piece. Tid bit: you can see the empty white space for the 2 buildings in the background that were digitally drawn in the final printed cover for apparent lighting effects per Eddy's rep.Social/Sharing |

A formidable line up of Titans! Barrow's inks has them lit from the city below like watchful gargoyles ready to swoop down and prey upon their foes!

Love the perspective and composition of this piece. Barrows gives me a Bermejo vibe on this piece

I agree! I actually love both artists styles. Need to get me a good Bermejo example one day.

What a stunning cover by Eddy Barrows! The level of detail in the architecture and cityscape is just breathtaking, creating a grand, almost cinematic backdrop for the Titans. The dramatic lighting and heavy inks give the piece a bold, intense energy, making the team look larger than life. It's unfortunate that you primarily care for Nightwing and Robin! As a lifelong Titans fan, this is just magical and all the characters look great!
Nightwing’s front and center placement really sets the tone, leading the charge with that determined expression. Donna Troy, Superboy, and the others all have a commanding presence, with each character radiating confidence and strength. The layout is fantastic. There’s a great sense of depth, making it feel like the team is stepping out of the page. An incredible piece that captures both the power and heroism of the Titans!

Thank you for the detailed analysis! And after reading your comment, I decided to edit my description box to ensure people know my love for all these characters. This piece would not be whole without each one...but I do still love Nightwing and Robin more =)

My pleasure, Myko. There's no problem at all with you loving whichever characters you love most. To be absolutely certain I make myself clear, I just want to say that to me as a lifelong Titans fan who loves allof these characters, some more or less than others, of course, this cover just seems like a dream piece of anyone who loves the Titans as a team, rather than just two of the characters. But either way, it is perfectly your right to collect any piece you want and for any reasons that compel you. Congratulations, it's a wonderful cover!
