DescriptionLe Hors-La-LoiEd. Dargaud 1974 (Originally published on Pilote Magazine). Under CAF perspective, this is the third time I have abandoned or broken my collector's clear line. I'm strongly focused on "american" art... but any rule has its exceptions. I have some... (more than published!) Jean Giraud really deserves to make an exceotion. He is, probably, one of the most influent and relevant artists of the 9th art. This page is a masterpiece from his artistic peak period. It has Mike Blueberry in almost all panels. On that time, he was Moebius already. He was ready to join "Les Humanoïdes Associés" and he was about to launch the legendary Metal Hurlant magazine. It wouldn't be fair to forget mention Jean-Michel Charlier, Lieutenant Blueberry co-creator. Art is huge. It is 16x21. Almost like a DPS. It is so impressive! ¨Tous À Cheval!!! Beautiful page by a true Master. I was lucky enough to meet Monsieur Giraud at my very first SDCC and had him sign my program book. Then years later, I was working as a volunteer at a local SF show and had the pleasure and privilege of driving him and his wife to the airport. They were a lovely couple. Congratulations on this gem.

What a beautiful Blueberry page (it's almost a sheet for its size). A must of European comics, every detail and meticulousness in the drawing put conscientiously by the master Jean Giraud “Moebius” Congratulations for this masterpiece.

Impressively large and dense work of Moebius art and Jean-Michel Charlier words put together. It's got the grit of genre to show an anti-hero that people related to in contemporary times.

Gorgeous page from the Blueberry comic book by Jean Giraud, the French master. Giraud's work on Blueberry is absolutely stunning. I love the way Giraud drew this page with a kind of loose, but controlled, style. The characters are all well conceived and well drawn. I love the look of Lt. Blueberry, of course, and his female companion here is also fascinating. I love the ferocity of her expression in the fifth panel--She really comes to life in that moment. This page is a wonderful example of Giraud's work and a great addition to your fine collection. Congratulations.
