Awesome splash! It also looks like it could have inspired a scene from the movie Captain America: The Winter Soldier, so doubly cool.

Sal has Rogers' heroism and The Constrictor's cowardice on display. When it comes down to it, the measure of a man is when the stakes are highest. A late 70's Sal Buscema gem!

Amazing splash very well drawn!!! Ilike a lot the composition. I love the Shield in the middle of the whole action scene. I like the CAP pages where the Shield is the true protagonist!

This issue was the first one I read as a child of Captain America. For me it is mythical because of the nostalgia. Congratulations

I guess if the villain is hiding under Cap's shield for protection that makes him a C list villan but this is an A list page.

The statement is, "Villains are all cowards at heart."

Wowza! Fabulous Captain America splash! This is how we like Cap--Standing proud despite the entire building collapsing around him. Hoilding up his shield to protect not only himself, but his enemy, the Constrictor! But that's the kind of hero Captain America is--The kind of guy who protects everyone around him. I always loved Cap for his morality and his unsparing sacrafice for others. This is a beautiful splash scene, a gorgeous example of Sal Buscema at his best. Sometimes Sal is overlooked--or even denigrated--compared to his peers, but as you can see here, his best even stands up to his brother's. Fabulous pick-up, congrats!
