DescriptionThe editors at William Morrow Publishers asked Scott to show them his interpretation of Glinda, Elphaba, and Elphaba as "The Witch". This is the first Concept art Scott did for Elphaba as "the Wicked Witch", complete with her dressed in black and pointy hat. This image ultimately also used as part of page 5 of the Graphic NovelThe concept art for Glinda and Elphaba is also shown in this gallery. The original is rendered in mixed media over pencil on a piece of 10 x 15" 2-ply Bristol art board and is signed in pencil in the lower right margin.
