DescriptionSnow in the savage land!!!! what???? That’s what’s happening on this banger of an end page .. Fun time in the X-men world.. after the craziness of the late 90s .. Marvel went for getting the band back together with this run.. Claremont was back and teamed up with his old pal Davis.. the lineup was a mix of old and new like that X-23 chick wearing the fang costume! Daddy would be so proud! And back in the savage land .. all the ingredients to grab us long time readers! And it worked !! Just like we all watched Cobra Kai.. this run was one of the best. Davis is one of my favorite artists… and no matter if it’s the early 80s or today.. his style is so distinct and crisp. So this nostalgic piece of redone nostalgia is all an X Oa collector like me could ask for. Big thank you to Peter for letting me have this one!Social/Sharing |

These Davis pages move fast when they come up for sale. The layout is great with the sky opening up and Davis splitting the scene in three below. It sets up a team shot reaction for the cliffhanger as they stand at the edge of a cliff to witness the breach that should be behind them!

great looking end page (splash?) by Davis and Farmer. even in black and white I can feel the chill of that snowy ledge. nice one

Love the continuous vortex above but with differing angles in the panels. Congrats!
