Description

Vwoorp Vworp! I know that Arthur is not a fan of doing likenesses, but I think he does an amazing job, as evidenced by this amazing sketch of the 10th Doctor, played by David Tennant. There's also plenty of other examples of Arthur hitting it out of the park with likenesses adapted to his amazing style, see Creature from the Black Lagoon and any of his Star Wars related art.

I warned Arthur that I had submitted a Doctor Who blank when I saw him at NYCC, but said that I'd leave which Doctor up to his choice. He told me that he was tempted to do The Watcher for me LOL, not Uatu of course, but the sort of larval Doctor that was between 4th and 5th. I was 95% sure he was kidding, and was a little relieved when I saw my sketch! :)

Anyway, again, so grateful for these CGC opps, that allows the fans to get options that Arthur might not have the time to approach on a busy con floor. Allons-Y!

It's one of the heightened facial expressions of David Tennant on the show that Art Adams chose to draw to capture the performance!

An amazing likeness, indeed! The expression - especially the eyes and eyebrows - is just perfect. Congrats on another excellent (and refreshingly unique!) AA sketch!
