I viewed Gerhard's portfolio of published Cerebus pages. I was already picking up (2) pre-expo commissions and a couple of the pre-done smaller pieces. I decided to hold off on purchasing a published page until the next day.

Date: January 28, 2024 (the next day).
All the art was purchased before I decided which one to get.

Date: January 25, 2025
Location: OAX-2
I went straight to Gerhards table. There were a couple or so collectors in front of me. When I got to the table I flipped through the Itoya and immediately saw a cover I wanted. I also saw a couple interiors I was interested in purchasing. I ended up deciding to purchase the cover (146) and page 16 from issue 160.

Storytelling and ink slinging intersect at this corner of this universe and it's hard to ignore this indie classic for the pure quality of their work. Gerhard keeping this page seems right as there are so many of his touches that are woven in by hand throughout the page.
