Description

From Heritage - Secret Agent Corrigan Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 8-20-69 (King Features Syndicate, 1969). A dramatic daily with heavy shadowing and mood driven art. This was signed as "Al Williamson," but a the notes on the verso tell us this was actually from the hand of Australian artist Stanley Pitt, who filled in for Williamson for 11 weeks in 1969.

As man falls, the rocket rises. Very nice how panel 2 flows into panel 3 with the white railing leading the eye towards the right as white space ships in a sea of empty darkness.
