I've been on the lookout for a Capullo and McFarlane page and this one checked the box. This issue featured the first appearance of the Curse and this page gave us some wonderful storytelling. I also enjoyed the dialog, which foreshadowed the big reveal of the character by calling himself cursed as he gears up and makes his way to New York City where in the last panel asked "Why have I been CURSED?"

It's really great to still see some of Capullo's pencils throughout the page with Todd McFarlane's inks on top! Signed at the bottom by Greg Capullo. They even included a signed copy of the comic.

The bottom two panels were also published in Wizard Magazine issue 51 on pages 56 and 57 in "Greg Capullo's Krash Course" article in the November 1995 issue.

Lot of hype from Wizard! McFarlane and Capullo were expanding the line rapidly while Spawn was in the top 10. The New York nighttime skyline is very inspired by DKR.

Capullo McFarlane Spawn AND published in Wizard! Pretty damn cool. That last panel shot is so nice with the city skyline and plane flying overhead. And always great customer service from the Capullos with signed copies of the comic included. Congrats!
