DescriptionI had passed on a Finch Batman cover several years back as it wasn't quite what I was looking for at that moment. I grew to regret it over time, so when I saw Anthony post this piece for sale I had to reach out and see if we could work a deal.I'd never traded with a dealer before. I found Anthony to be very reasonable during the process. Had to give up a bit to make the numbers work, but saw this as an opportunity to not only acquire a great piece but consolidate the collection some as well. Thanks, Anthony! Social/Sharing |

holy cow dude, a Finch Batman cover is modern grail level territory for many! Not sure which one you passed up on in the past, but this one featuring Bane and an insane amount of other details is pretty epic. Great job getting it in a trade (Anthony is relatively easy to work with for sure) and consolidating your collection a bit while adding such a significant piece. congrats!

I've seen this in person--it is quite impressive.

You wouldn't be the aforementioned "John" in the inscription? Lol

Well this is about as killer a Bane cover as you'll find! Standing amidst the debris, desctruction and (lifeless?) bodies of our heroes just ups the tension to Def Con 1!

Finch's made Bane a heavy hitter once again that felt contemporary to the times. Eduardo Barreto, Graham Nolan, Jim Aparo were all great old school, but Finch's take is a different breed with even greater intensity and impact for our times.
