Description

Gran dibujo a tinta realizado por Miguel Ambrosio (Ambrós) para entrar a formar parte de la plantilla de dibujantes de la popular revista francesa de cómics Pif Gadget. Según el vendedor, este original formaba parte de un lote subastado en 1993, poco después del cierre de la revista. No tiene fecha, pero la mayoría de las piezas del lote databan de 1980. Escenas de acción al más puro estilo Ambrós, protagonizadas por un personaje sin nombre destinado a una serie de aventuras de fantasía histórica. Sin texto ni diálogos. Autor acreditado en el margen inferior derecho. Tinta sobre papel, 34,2 x 47 cm. Excelente estado de conservación.

Large ink drawing by Miguel Ambrosio (Ambrós) to join the staff of cartoonists at the popular French comic magazine Pif Gadget. According to the seller, this original was part of a lot auctioned in 1993, shortly after the magazine closed. It is undated, but most of the pieces in the lot dated from 1980. Action scenes in the purest Ambrós style, starring an unnamed character intended for a historical fantasy adventure series. No text or dialogue. Author credited at lower right margin. Ink on paper, 34.2 x 47 cm. Excellent condition.
