Wow! Looking back, this is one of the best JRJr cover of his early run. You see so much more of the detail and feel the atmosphere here without the colors. Congrats!

Very cool cover by John Romita Jr. I love this era of JrJr's work. He'd really started to grow out of the standard Marvel style and begun to develop his own style. Here, he draws a scene from the story where Rogue has absorbed Storm's powers and Storm has lost consciousness. Meanwhile, Rogue is being hunted by Henry Gyrich, who wants to use a neutralizer gun to take away Rogue's powers. I love the drama of this cover which was enhanced by the masterful inks of Dan Green. Fantastic pick-up, congrats!
