Description

I really dig the sketch pages that Jared Cullum does, when he sketches different figures and scenes, then focuses on one with gouache. In this case I asked Jared if he could riff on the great 1932 fight sequence between Popeye and Bluto. He knocked it out of the park!

A modern comic book fight sequence that would have been too brutal for Bluto back in the day. No cartoon stars like how Zaloby or Sagendorf would have done it.
