Description

Absolute Wonder Woman has been such a solid series, both in writing and art. I've been a fan of Sherman's art for a while and have been amazed by how varied his style can be. His panel layouts are always a feast for the eyes, but I especially loved these double page "repetitive" sequences in the first issue. They did such a great job of showing the progression of time. There are no shortcuts here - every panel was re-inked by hand. I'm incredibly excited to own one of these sequences from this great series.

I'm not usually a fan of double page spreads, but I love the repeated use of the same panel to show the passage of time here. These were easily my favorite pages from the first issue (which I didn't read until well after the art drop). Congrats on the fantastic pickup!
