Description

This is a fun one. Frank Cho really got me back into reading and drawing/sketching after finding his weekly Wednesday drawing tutorials on Youtube and I quickly fell in love with Liberty Meadows. I know most people seek out Frank for other reasons, but his strip art and insane double page spreads in Liberty Meadows are just incredible.

But like many of us, an original Frank Cho art piece is out of my budget but this is just as neat and nostalgic. Based on the description and talking with the seller, we believe is a production sample that Frank would receive to review prior to final printing.

What's even better is I got this piece from "Al the Bartender" himself! The story is Franks good friend at the time who was the inspiration for Al the Bartender got this from his girlfriend as a gift from Frank directly.

Based on the description of the item and having read the comics, I wondered if the seller was "Al" himself. So, I messaged the seller after purchasing the item to not only confirm that I did in fact purchase this directly from "Al the Bartender," it confirmed the story, and he signed the back for me.

"Al" was incredibly gracious and I'm very grateful to have this piece. The people we meet and the stories we discover are what makes this stuff so special.
