DescriptionGreat art by Tim from the 1990s Kitchen Sink series (an officially licensed comic book series that adapted songs by the band "Grateful Dead" into comic stories), that reminds me highly on Star Wars scenes from Lukes home-planet Tatooine: the first panel may also play near Jabbas palace or in the dusty, crime-filled streets of Mos Eisley, the second panel motive has a “Stormtrooper riding a Dewback” feeling and the face-shot on last panel looks like the visage of a "Tusken Raider" 😊Please mail me if you know from what issue exactly this page is, it might be from the “Eagle Mall” storyline in Vol. 2 (1994) of the series that plays in a SF/western setting … but I don’t own the issues. Truman probably also goes further back to Star Wars' own influences of John Carter, Dune, and who knows? Maybe Lucas listened to the Dead too.
