Description

Since my youth, I've been fascinated by the young Prince Valiant, as a squire to the knight Sir Gawain and their shared adventures, and later as best friends and comrades, as two knights of King Arthur's Round Table.
It took me 30 years to find the necessary cash and the right Sunday page. Now I'm happy to have a treasure that will soon find a proper place on my wall.

Val and Gawain anonymously compete in a tournament, and for me, these are wonderful scenes that offer much of what the great Hal Foster has to offer us artistically.

Incredible grail! These panels are large and have so much of Foster's imagination and skills as a storyteller.

Beautiful Foster example! As always, his genius is on full display here and I love these tournament examples. Congratulations...this is wonderful.
