Description

Live in the central Florida area and are looking for something to do this weekend?

On Saturday May 17th from 12pm to 3pm at the Abbey Bar in Downtown DeLand: https://www.abbeybardeland.com

The CFACA (Central Florida Art Collectors Anonymous) will be hosting a Free 1 day, 3 hour event showcasing Original Vintage Animation artwork from every major animation studio including works from Disney, Hanna-Barbera, Warner Bros, Bill Melendez, Chuck Jones and many more. The entire traditional animated process will be on display including conceptual pieces, story boards, production drawings and the finished hand painted cels.

This is a rare opportunity to see dozens of originals that have never been displayed before and to admire the hand crafted artistry that went into the now all but forgotten art form that has moved aside for the sterility of the computer generated animation of today.

This show is being produced to not only appreciate the art but to also benefit the family owned Abbey Bar. So please come out and have a craft beer or some light fare and enjoy some incredible artwork from the cartoons and movies we all grew up loving.
