That's pretty cool with the upcoming auction for the painted card coming up soon. This has the figure and lighting all worked out with the extra heavy pencil for the outlines.

Hi Marcus-- thanks for your comment. The ongoing Heritage auction is incredibly exciting to watch, since this is the closest I'll ever get to Marvel Masterpieces original art. While it seems Greg did many prelims for this card, I'm over the moon about this one because of its large format, and the erasure marks. Like you said, you can see some thought process here with the posing and lighting all worked out. I like to think that THIS is the version where he had his "aha moment"!
