Description

During the pandemic, an outfit called Talent Talk did a series of zoom meetings with creators that included a small sketch.

The gatherings were quite enjoyable and Dave Gibbons really brought some fantastic stories and insight to the table.

This is the sketch I received afterwards. Rick W recently posted one that seems to have come from the same series, and one can see the basic template that Gibbons was using for his sketch cards at the time.

I like how the blue graphite peaks through under the inks in various parts of the image, hell even the signature! Adds a little more flair and depth to the sketch card. Cool one and sounds like a great experience to have while cooped up in the pandemic.

Omg, I love that he bluelined his first drawing so he could then bang the rest of them out as quickly as possible. But what's really funny is that he even bluelined his signature and date! Cuz you know, that'll help him sign his name even faster! 😜
