Description

Honestly have no idea how this wasn't used as the cover but hands down a highly detailed and beautifully rendered concept. Spider-Man, Norman Osborn, and the Green Goblin emerging in the middle is such a great design by one of the best in his field.

I think they did a variation of this where they stretched transformations across a wraparound cover for the entire line over a month. Maybe Ross didn't want to repeat that theme. This is pretty tight with Spidey, Gobby, and Norman.

Thanks for the info, I found a few of the stretched transformation covers they sort of remind me of the Thing. Definitely a totally different style than this one.
