DescriptionWell paint me green and call me a goblin! Not a whole lot to say about this one. Great published pinup by a Spider-Man legend! Despite the dopeness of this piece being the main contributing factor in it's acquisition, I'd like to credit my good friend, Sonu Kumar for influencing this purchase (Kinda). The majority of his collection is Tim Sale Batman art and many of his pieces depict Dookieman -- *cough, cough* -- I mean Batman, in the shadows. Something I've come to really appreciate in Pen/Ink art through watching his collection grow. I love how much an artist can imply through the shadows while at the same time leaving the image up for the viewers interpretation. Such a range of possibilities. Perhaps he was stalking a purse-snatching thief in an alley? Maybe this was An evasive maneuver to avoid detection by the police or stealthed reconnaissance in Doc Ock's lair? The world may never know.. One thing's for certain - It's a great image and IMO, the epitome of 90's Spider-Man art. Big thanks to Mr. Mike Wazowski for letting this one go. First time trading and it couldn't have been smoother! ![]() Social/Sharing |

Classic, quintessential Sal Buscema Spidey! Angular and all elbows, just the way he ought to be. Congrats- I'd admired this one for a while!

Timeless image! Extra special when it's vintage done by one of the legends in the game.

Probably my favorite piece in your collection. The layout of the webs naturally draws the eye towards spiderman. Love the negative space and heavy inks. I'm glad you finally saw the light (...or darkness I guess).
