Description

Carlos Dearmas is such an absolutely incredible talent. I previously commissioned him to do one of my most favorite pieces in my collection, A Tribute to Vertigo. I had the opportunity to pick this one up from the DOND group on FB (thank you, Suleman!) and had to take it. We see Diana in long ago Persia masterfully rendered by Carlos in beautiful armor and mounted on a gorgeous war horse. I think in the current continuity she had some Pre-WW2 adventures in Man's World? If not we can pretend it's Elseworlds :) The piece is 10" by 14" and it's really something to behold in hand, and I hope the scan does it some justice.

A portrait that is done by the artisans at home only after returning from a successful campaign! Dearmas looks upon historical portraits for inspiration. The regal majesty, the power, the heroic image all bring legendary status to Diana!
