Description

The first piece of art I posted to CAF was a Jim Lee LOSH page and now my 1000th piece is a Jim Lee Wildcats page. And this page in particular is special for me for a slew of reasons. Going way back to my youth, I bought the first four issues of Wildcats but stopped reading it because the story was just so-so. But when Claremont came on to do his four issue arc I was back on and hooked this time. Then with issue 11 we get introduced to Mr Majestic and my favorite Wildstorm character; Savant, Zealot's sister. This is her 2nd appearance.

Fast forward to spring 2023 and this page pops up at auction but it goes for a little bit more than I can afford at the time. I'm bummed but I figure their will be other pages. Then two years later it's up for auction again and this time I snagged it!

Zealot has just gained the power necessary to go up again Tapestry as Majestic and Savant arrive too late.

That Majestic image will be one that Lee uses for Superman later on.
