DescriptionLove this piece by the Golden Age great himself Wally Wood who's well known for his Horror and Sci-Fi pieces. Created on DuoTone board with a size of 6.25" x 5.5". There's so much happening on this illustration from the main guy (appears to be a self-illustration of himself) reading a book wearing a Sci-Fi vest, the mummy drinking beer, the scene set inside a cell, to the man stabbed on the bottom.... Pretty cool as it reflects the work he did for EC with monsters, creepy stuff, and lots of death done with a sly macabre style.
