Description

Here's a great early toning page by Michael Dooney that was published in the "Shell Shock" trade paperback. This page was used in the production of the page; these are NOT Eastman pen/inks. Rather, similar to how the blueline system works, this page is the photocopy of the original art that was then hand-toned by Dooney. I've never seen such a production piece and features a great fight scene. This page is action packed with each panel featuring heavy action. Toned on thin Duo-tone paper (not board), the condition of the page is what I'd call fair. It appears to have been bent possibly at some point and also has some fading, most notable along the top of the top three panels. Overall, though it presents very nicely and has a page size of 11" X 14" inches. Michael Dooney signed it along the bottom in 1990. Simply a great opportunity to pick up an early Turtles battle page at an outstanding price!
