DescriptionI know he only did a few issues but I'll rarely pass on one if I can swing it. He brought so much fun and energy to these pages as he tackled some of DC's most colorful characters.Have always loved Mister Miracle and think Bill was channeling Marshall Rogers here from his great run on Scott's book. Everything about this page just works. The tight shots leading into the last two panels are particularly great and really set up those two long shots. Bought this from eBay in early 2025. Definitely Rogers inspired with the flow of action, the modern hair styles, sleek thin lines, and screentones.

I love Willingham's Justice League art, so much so that I have a clear memory of the first time I read this issue the day after it hit the stands back in 1989. Awesome pickup!
