DescriptionFrom Heritage Auctions:Al Williamson, Frank Frazetta, and others Crime Illustrated #3 Story Page 9 Original Art (EC, 1956) From the unpublished third issue of EC's "Picto-Fiction" magazine, the issue was included in the Russ Cochran slipcase edition released in 2006. The book credits only Williamson with the art, but visual evidence in faces and figures suggests partial inking by fellow EC artists Frank Frazetta, Angelo Torres, and Reed Crandall. Rendered in ink and Zipatone on EC Bristol board with an image area of 16" x 22". The toned board has text blocks that are modern-day photocopy replacements, slight creasing of the top edge, with smudging, edge and handling wear. In Very Good condition. Social/Sharing |
