Description

Mark Stegbauer surprised followers of his newsletter with the announcement that he would draw a free sketch card for each subscriber. Even those who subscribed for free. What a great way to reward fans! I asked for Stallone as Jack Carter and offered to pay for postage and handling. Mark declined my offer saying everything was on him.

My sketch card arrived today. Whoa! I was expecting (and would have been happy with) a quick sketch. As you can see what I got was a full color card. What you can't see was the sturdy packaging and plastic top loader it was shipped in.

What a great guy! And what a cool addition to my Stallone art collection! I'm looking forward to seeing what other Stegbauer fans received.

I like the dapper striped suit and the darker tone over the face for that tough guy intensity.

That's one of the things I like about Get Carter and other similar movies. Tough guys that look the part but are dressed like gentlemen. Don't judge the book by the cover.
