Description

This was a pick up from Heroes Con 2025 in Charlotte, NC and was the a one of the Heroes Con Indie Island shirts that were sold at the convention June 20-22, 2025.

This piece was drawn by Dustin Harbin to celebrate 20 years of indie island! Dustin not only drew the piece, but he also tables at the convention, and he used to work for Heroes and created indie island with Heroes in 2005.

Dustin said, "This year marks 20 years (!!!) since me and @heroesonline started Indie Island, the small press section at the dead center of HeroesCon, here in Charlotte, NC. To mark the occasion, me and fellow Charlottean @natandrewson have designed tshirts that will be printed live at the show by @fineprint.shop."

It's actually a pretty important part of the show's history as a lot of new guys get started in Indie Island and went on to become stars and give back to the show through the auction. Probably a core mission of the convention is to help the new artists.

There must be something in the water at Heroes, because this one also has a very 70's tv commercial animated feel to it!
