DescriptionGot this from a three-sided trade involving a Gil Kane Daredevil cover I had in my possession. Some may say "Well done!", others "You're nuts!": all I know is that I love this one because it's the Kirby I've been growing up with, and Giorgio Comolo's expression when I showed it to him was priceless...According to a previous owner, the paste-up logos have been restored (bleached). Also published on "L'Incredibile Marvel: 75 Anni di Meraviglie a Fumetti" exhibit catalog, 2015. Displayed at the "L'Incredibile Marvel: 75 Anni di Meraviglie a Fumetti" exhibit, Napoli, Mostra d'Oltremare, 2015 Displayed at the "Jack Kirby: Mostri, Uomini, Dei" exhibit, Bologna, Fondazione del Monte, 2018 Social/Sharing |

Beautiful piece! I agree, this is still one of the king's master pieces. Beside's Machine Man, the Eternals was his last great comic. I loved the first 10 issues of this series. Until they had the robot Hulk in the series.

Those inks are actually by Frank Giacoia. Stan didn't let Royer ink any of Jack's covers for Marvel.

Great cover! Giacoia did a good job on those razor-shap inks!
