I'm pretty sure I first encountered Power Girl in a Perez-drawn JLA/JSA crossover. I had been too young to follow the exploits of the JSA when this three-parter came out. But, alongside the Doom Patrol Showcase issues and All Star Comics, these issues were some of the first books I bought as back issues once I discovered my first comic book store.

Staton isn't quite as associated with Power Girl as he is with the Huntress, but he is definitely the person who most often drew her before the launch of Crisis. Likewise, Paul didn't Levitz didn't create her, but he did a lot to develop (and in several ways round out) her character.

Bought this beauty in an eBay auction in spring 2025.
