Bonelli 1986

Thanks to Angelo Stano’s black-and-white style, the panels convey physicality through stark shadows and strong contrasts. The irregular lines enhance the sense of chaos, while the quick sequences create a cinematic rhythm. The rift between Dylan’s rational world and the uncontrollable eruption of horror is strongly felt.
In this page from the first issue of the series, Dylan Dog faces zombies for the first time, creatures that will return many times throughout the series.
