I am always a sucker for a page featuring the Avengers trapped in tubes…..pinned to a wall of concrete…trapped in an energy cage. Somehow they always escape.

Perez in full stride on this 3rd run on Avengers! Classic comic trope of bondage and mad scientist test tubes as prisons. He makes the layout cooler than a regular splash with so many insets full of details!

Lev the reaction shot close ups. Wasp found her old asymmetrical costume from #195 and cut the other leg off. Better than losing an arm!

George Pérez was one of the all-time greats of the medium, and this page is a perfect example of the passion and skill he brought to his work- so good!

Ultron's work is done, captured all the Avengers and put them in display cases. George never took the easy route when laying out his pages and this is a perfect example of his detailed team adventures.
